Michaelangelo Solaris

Tucked away in Mont Kiara, Michaelangelos

is the latest hip place to wine, dine and have a

party! Rows of trendy and posh cafes and dining

outlets dot Solaris - the place which has taken over

Bangsar.

Michaelangelos is running a Guinness Christmas menu,

which serves a pint of Guinness with any main meal

ordered.

Being an Italian bistro, the food served are predominantly

a fusion of Italian and western. There a whole range of pastas,

soups and desserts.

BORA ASMARA

One of my favorite places to chill out,

relax and unwind is the
BORA ASMARA

in Kg sungei Penchala, Jalan Damansara,

Petaling Jaya is a place I would recommend.

Bora Asmara spreads over 1.5 acre of lush

greenery, unspoit by generous landscape.

Designed to look like a typical Balinese

courtyard, Bora Asmara is a favourite venue for

wedding functions, corporate launches and

cosy parties.....

A lunch buffet is offered on week days....

I am fussy with food....all I can say is

they ought to change the chef, change the

menu!

The band plays nightly, except for Sundays, where another band

takes over.. Didi plays songs from soul to rock and roll and latin..

Dancing is the norm when the band is in action, so if

you like life music, awesome ambience..........head to

BORA ASMARA

directions to the place: coming from TTdi heading towards
Mutiara dsara, at the traffic light, go straight,
turn left at next traffic light....look for a lighted
bungalow on the left....dont be alarmed to pass thru
a small malay community...this is Kg Sg Pencala
Click to play Merry Xmas from KCPJPlease click on the arrow to start play and to turn the pages...dont forget to switch on the speakers too.

Yvonne Foong

To all fellow Kiwanians

I have been following Yvonne's blog for a while now....

She suffers from NF - a nervous disorder which is debilitating
and has left her blinded in one eye, deaf in both ears coupled
with multiple impairments.

I am amazed at her strength and will to live inspite of all the
setbacks and hurdles. She has single handedly raised funds for
her numerous operations. Yvonne is losing sight of the other eye
and is raising funds through selling t-shirts at RM15 each.

Her plea is heart rending and I hope that you will support her, either in cash or kind.

I have copied the following for you to read. I am sure as Kiwanians, we will not fail to reach our to those in need.

Thank you

This is the result...............

after 6 weeks of brainstorming, meetings, planning, budgetting , our bazaar took off with a BANG on a clear Sunday morning.

The weather was kind to us, it was a cool Sunday and the sun was kind enough to take a breather. Everything went accordingly to schedule. The homes were there to receive the donations. We could see the happy smiling faces as children devoured the food bought from the stalls.
Members were busy putting things to order before the bazaar bright and early

Most of the stalls did a roaring business and food was sold out way before the bazaar was supposed to close.

Tuck in time !!!

we are still trying to bring in more stalls. It has been most
encouraging as members were putting in alot of effort to
make this event a great success. Beyond a shadow of doubt,
excitement is in the air.

Everyone in KCPJ has a role to play and for those are reading
this blog.....BE THERE and see it happen, most importantly,

MAKE IT HAPPEN!
